Queenie Eye

Yesterday Twitter went wild after a gossip website published a video in which our friend and favorite Beatle (at least for me) was blocked at the entrance of a Grammy's afterparty in Los Angeles.
Hello people!?? How come sir Paul McCartney is not on the list??
I'm sure this party production team fired who made the guest list and that the security that didn't let him enter must be already looking for a job elsewhere ... and you?
When I saw the video, I immediately posted solidarity messages to Paul and remembered that he has many friends which he can have a party with - at least that's showing this clip I ❤❤❤ Queenie Eye.

Who needs a guest list when you have Kate Moss??

Johnny Depp

Jude Law

Meryl Streep

Everybody come together...

Even Sean Pen!

Yeah! No need to worry...

Again: I Love the music and the video...

Don't you think that the music lyrics matches with the whole the situation?

"There were rules you never told me
never came up with a plan
all the stories that you sold me
didn’t help me understand

but I had to get it worked out
had nobody who could help
so then in the end it turned out
that I had to do it
by myself…"

And for those who didn't see it yet.. the unfortunately incident:

* "...Never blame
If romances
Seldom came
Never pick a fight you're gonna lose..."

** You need another hit - not to get to another lame party, but to continue inspiring us with your beautiful and everlasting/ immortal/ eternal songs

Frankie & Johnny

Forget Gatsby.. my new obsession is Johnny!

♥♥♥ "Frankie & Johnny" is the sweetest love story I've ever seen and now I'm addicted to the movie with Al Pacino and Michelle Pfeiffer ♥♥♥

"Frankie and Johnny" (1991) was directed by Garry Marshall, and it was based in the 1987 Off-Broadway production of "Frankie and Johnny in the Clair de Lune" - by the way "Claire de lune" by Claude Debussy is part of the soundtrack of the movie ♥

Need to say something about the role of Al Pacino? Perfect chemistry with Michelle - for the second time together at the big screen, the 1st one was in "Scarface" (1983), by Brian De Palma

Young and Beautiful

New obsession: "The Great Gatsby"!

My father said that's a women kind of film. What do you mean?!

I mean.. the type of film and type of history that has as the main character a man who is able to build a whole empire from nothing only to conquer the woman of his dreams is the kind of movie that just attracts women? Really?! Why is that?
Because it creates false expectations and illusions? Because this kind of man does not exist, except in books and movies?

Well.. I'm sorry but I think I'll have to agree... it's sad.. Gatsbys don't exist :(

I blame Disney! haha...

Anyway ... I enjoyed reading the Fitzgerald novel and like even more the new version that Baz Luhrmann did for the cinema - actors, scenery and soundtrack are just spectacular as the great parties offered by Jay Gatsby at his colossal cassel!

Lana Del Rey's song fits like a glove

hummmm... Did I hear sighs?! haha.....

*still waiting for my Gatsby, but don't go tell anybody ok?!

Miley choices

In one week, her video clip "wrecking ball" had 100 million hits on youtube. Directed by Terry Richardson and full of controversy - I liked it, but I'm not here to talk about it, or even to judge someone.

What catches my attention about the new Miley are her fashion choices, these she have done very well and are these images that I want to show you here ;)
in Balmain at the Billboard Music Awards 2013

"let me take a pic here to post it in my instagram and I will publish it with a lot of ## so everybody's gonna see and gonna "like" it.." said by anybody with a cellphone today.. including me.. we wanna show the world the food, the job, the party, the perfect body at the gym.. and what we want from it? inspire other people? be famous? or just a little bit of attention?

Everybody's living for the APPLAUSE today but Gaga is the only one who admit's it and that's why she has my affection ♥

"I live for the applause, applause, applause
I live for the applause-plause
Live for the applause-plause
Live for the way that you cheer me and scream for me
The applause, applause, applause
Give me that thing that I love
(Turn the lights on!)
Put your hands up make 'em touch, touch
(Make it real loud)
Give me that thing that I love
(Turn the lights on!)
Put your hands up make 'em touch, touch..."

Gonna Fly Now

"Trying hard now
It's so hard now

  Trying hard now
Getting strong now

  Won't be long now
Getting strong now
Gonna fly now
Flying high now

  Gonna fly, fly, fly..."

When the music starts playing makes you want to stretch the body and run the cold streets of Philadelphia to climb the steps of the Art Museum of the city.

"Gonna Fly Now", was composed by Bill Conti with lyrics by Carol Connors and Ayn Robbins, and performed by DeEtta Little and Nelson Pigford.
And it was composed especially for the film (Rocky, 1976) at the request of the director himself, John G. Avildsen, who wanted to give more life and depth to the main scene of the film - the fight between Rocky Balboa (Sylvester Stallone) and Apollo Creed (Carl Weathers).

Cena do treinamento - "Rocky", 1976
"The song (whose lyrics have a total count of 30 words) was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Original Song in the 49th Academy Awards. The version of the song from the movie, performed by Conti with an orchestra, hit number one on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in 1977, while a version by jazz trumpeter Maynard Ferguson hit the top 30."

I need start doing boxing classes - urgent!

Rocky Balboa

I love Rocky for so many reasons.. one of them is the lessons he passes through the movies..
Better than a winner he's a fighter and knows how to fight life.

I think the Earth and we humans have never been so well protected as now! What is this "boom" of superhero movies that came out of nowhere?!
I'm not complaining I am really enjoying it! And I can't wait for the previews to come :)
